Many people have seen the beautiful Budweiser Clydesdales on television commercials and this summer visitors to Heritage Hill State Historical Park will have the opportunity to see these ambassadors of the Anheuser-Busch family up close and in person. A team of 10 horses visit the park for six days (July 31-August 5). During the visit, guests will learn about the Budweiser Clydesdale Horses and have the opportunity to interact with historic guides representing over three centuries of Northeastern Wisconsin history.
Besides viewing these fine horses on the park grounds all week, visitors can plan to attend a special evening event on Friday, August 3, 2012 at Heritage Hill from 4:30pm-8:00pm. Eight Budweiser Clydesdale horses will be harnessed and hitched to the famous red beer wagon during this special event and will parade around the grounds. Our guests will enjoy a music concert, games, Rhia the Trick Horse and other events for the whole family! Beer sampling will also be part of the night of the parade for those 21 and over, but all ages can attend the event. For more information on this event please click here.
Concessions will be available (while supplies last): Tuesday - Thursday 11:00 am to 2:30 pm and Friday 10:00 am to 7:30 pm.
With the large popularity of this event to save time at the entrance gate it is encouraged to become a Heritage Hill Member.
