Celebrate the 100th anniversary of the Girl Scouts at Heritage Hill!
Meet Juliette Gordon Low, founder of the Girl Scouts, who will share inspirational stories and anecdotes from her life. Activities include lessons in our one room school house, a Victorian tea party, historical dancing, and learning how wool is carded and spun. Participants will also churn butter, discover the "language of the fan," explore an immigrant’s trunk of belongings, and make their own family tree. Be sure to pack a high energy lunch for this adventure!
Don’t miss this opportunity to experience the lives of women in the 19th and early 20th centuries.
Registration for this program is through the Girl Scouts of the Northwestern Great Lakes and can be completed online at www.gsnwgl.org/register.
