Talk of the Town
The Talk of The Town, under the leadership of Kevin Van Ess, is one of the hottest Dixieland/Swing Style Jazz Groups north of New Orleans. The six piece group consisting of Clarinet/Saxophone, Trumpet, Trombone, Banjo, Bass, Piano, and Drums has collectively over 300 years of experience.
The Talk of The Town, performs, all styles of music with an emphasis on the great jazz standards with special salutes to Pete Fountain, Louis Armstrong, Benny Goodman, AL Hirt, The Dukes of Dixieland, The Preservation Hall Jazz Band and many more. On occasion, you may even hear a polka as the group salutes the offical state song of Wisconsin.
