The Vietnam War was a political and a cultural flash point, dividing our country like nothing since the Civil War. It was the inspiration for an extraordinary output of movies, books and other artistic expression.

Heritage Hill joins the Greater Green Bay area in honoring our Vietnam Veterans leading up to LZ Lambeau in May of 2010.

Specifically, Heritage Hill is hosting an art exhibit titled, “War, Art and the Vietnam Veteran.” The artwork is designed by Vietnam Veterans and tells the stories of soldiers who fought in the war and the response they received upcoming home. Many veterans used art as a way to express the impact of their war experience when it is difficult to put it into words. It is a way to express the inexpressible, educate their loved ones and in some cases a means of healing from the pain of war.
