Life of Laura Camp

Spend two days at the Fort Howard and Ethnic Agricultural area as you learn activities Laura and Almanzo did in the Little House books. Meet our farm animals, make a corn cob doll, help with the laundry and so much more! Learn more.

3 Day Discover History Camps

Interpreter's Apprentice

Experience the life of early Wisconsin settlers and share their stories with visitors. Participants will choose an area of the park to specialize in and will borrow a costume from that time period to wear. Matched with an interpreter and teacher, campers will help with chores and learn traditional crafts. Become a special member of the Heritage Hill community! Learn more.

Discovering Nature

Discover how early settlers survived in Wisconsin’s wilderness and how nature inspires creativity at Heritage Hill. Gather food, make a clay pot, watercolor paint all while enjoying the natural world around you. Learn more.

Men Throughout Time

Live the life of a fur trader, a soldier, or a business man in this adventurous camp only for boys. Learn more.

Women Throughout Time

Live the life of an 1800’s woman while you play games, sew, and have a tea party in this new exciting camp only for girls. Learn more.

Girl Scout Camps

Other Information

Children are encouraged to dress in historic clothing, but this is not required for participation. Shoes do not have to be historic, but rather should be close toed and comfortable for walking. Heritage Hill will only provide clothing for those campers enrolled in the Interpreter's Apprentice camp. Discover History Camps are held regardless of weather, so please dress your child accordingly.

Lunches

All campers need to bring lunches. Water is provided.
